The lion who could fly

Once there was an old lion. He could not catch his prey. One day, he prayed to God and asked, "God, please give me a boon." Suddenly, Lord Indra came and asked, "What boon do you want, Lion?" The lion replied, "I want to fly". When Indra heard this, he burst out laughing and said "No lion has ever wanted to fly, but I will still grant your boon". When he said these words, beautiful and feathery orange wings sprouted on his back. First the lion tried to flap his wings just as he saw the birds do it. After that, his feet was lifting off the ground. He was a flying lion!

Before Lord Indra vanished, he told that the spell would wear off when he was dead, but in his next life, Indra would make the lion a hunting bird. Then, after some practice of flying, he could catch his prey. One day, Arjun, the best archer in the world came to the forest where the lion lived. When Arjun saw the lion flying, he thought it would make a tasty lunch, so he aimed his arrow at the lion. The lion could not see him, for he was having his lunch in the air. When the arrow killed him, he thought Lord Indra would make him a hunting bird. Indra name the bird a 'huntabi'. Also he had his mother born with him! He was very happy. After that, he prayed again and told Lord Indra, "Thank you for giving me this wonderful life, God". Then, his family lived as happily as can be forever.

Black Widow is a lady who can fight,
Thor is a superhero who takes flight.

Hulk is green and very strong,
Captain America's shield can fly far and long.

Scarlet Witch's power is red,
Quicksilver is the first to go to bed.

Ultron wants to kill everyone,
But the Avengers kill him, so their work is done.

My experience in a floatel

My family and me went on board a cruise ship called Superstar Gemini. It had rooms to live in, swimming pools and best of all, restaurants and a TV (television)! I was so surprised to see a ship like this.

On the first day, my sister and other played 'The longest breath'. When my sister saw the swimming pool, she instantly wanted to go to it. So my father, my sister and me went to the pool. We (my family) went to two restaurants called Mariners and Bella Vista. The restaurants also had Indian food. Yum! Actually, we went on the cruise because we would be exploring Malaysia! Not the whole Malaysia but only Penang and Langkawi.

First stop-Penang. We saw Buddha temples and Thai temples, a coffee store, Penang hills and a night market. In the Buddha temple, we saw a big Buddha sleeping. In the coffee store, we tasted different flavours of coffee. In Penang hills, we went on a train and saw an Indian temple. In the night market, we just saw it.

Second stop-Langkawi. We went on a boat ride and a jet ski. On the boat, we sailed to some kind of restaurant. Over there we saw a stringray, a lobster and some fishes. While we were going to see those sea creatures, the driver told my father that Langkawi means eagle and my father told us (my sister and me). On the way back, we passed the scene of Don 2. We went to a beach for the jet ski. Some people taught my father how to drive a jet ski and he was perfect! We (my family) went on some rides and since my sister and me were wet, my mother gave us a shower in the toilet. My mother got some clothes in handy and we went back to the ship.

When we got there, I got a headache but soon it felt better. After that, we had our last dinner on this trip which was a gala party and went back to Singapore. I felt so good to be back home again.

Plant Me!

Q: If you had a popsicle stick that says 'Plant Me', what would you like the shoot to grow into?

A: I would want the shoot to grow into a soccer field which is magical so no one will get hurt. The goals will be made of giant yellow sunflowers and the ball will be made of bananas, with carrots on the side.

The monkey who went to space

Once upon a time there lived a monkey. Her name was Fitulla. Fitulla asked her mom if she could go to the space to observe galaxies. Her mother said yes. She asked a(n) astronaut where was "The Monkey Blast". He said it was a picture of a monkey in the middle. She found it and got inside. Fitulla blasted of(f) in "The Monkey Blast". Her friend Efiulla was also riding a rocket. Its name was "The Elephant Illuta". She said hello and blasted in different directions.

"The Monkey Blast" & "The Elephant Illuta" splitted. "The Monkey Blast" went to the galaxy way & "The Elephant Illuta" went to the stars way. Fitulla observed galaxies & Efiulla observed stars! Now they were enjoying being in space.

Simba was in "The Lion Split". It went to the moon way. Simba observed the moon. He also had a fun time. Fitulla and Efiulla said hello.  All of them observed how much ever they wanted. Then they went home.

Kudu on the moon

A kudu goes to the moon;
That's how it gets its food.

It gets plenty of grass,
And water in a glass.

A kudu can get its food everywhere;
But not the fair!

If I had a magic vehicle!

My magical vehicle is a flying car which can fly into space. It is not bothered by fire or ice so I can go to all the seven planets. When it lands on the moon, it would flatten into a skateboard or bicycle. It will keep bouncing on the moon. It would be as big as a crater. My car would be bright yellow and shiny black glitter. From the skateboard or bicycle, a big yellow bubble would come out and become a car again.
